Thank you for choosing Tranquil Park Maleny.

These Terms and Conditions apply to accommodation bookings, weddings, conferences, private functions and other events held at Tranquil Park Maleny, 483 Mountain View Road, Maleny, Queensland.

Accommodation Terms & Conditions

Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

Accommodation rates, payment requirements and cancellation conditions may vary depending on the room type, rate and booking method selected.

The applicable cancellation and payment conditions will be displayed or provided at the time of booking. Some accommodation rates may be non-refundable.

Guests are encouraged to review the conditions applying to their selected rate before confirming their reservation.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: From 2:00 pm
Check-out: By 10:00 am

Reception operates during limited hours. Guests expecting to arrive outside normal check-in hours should contact Tranquil Park Maleny prior to arrival to arrange check-in.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available by prior arrangement, subject to availability and additional charges.

The minimum age to check in is 18 years.

Wedding & Event Guest Accommodation

Accommodation bookings are separate from wedding, conference and function bookings.

Booking a wedding or event at Tranquil Park Maleny does not automatically reserve accommodation for the couple, organiser or their guests.

We recommend arranging accommodation as early as possible, particularly for weddings, events and busy Maleny weekends, as rooms remain subject to availability until booked and confirmed.

Guest Numbers

Accommodation may only be occupied by the number of guests included in the confirmed booking.

Please advise Tranquil Park Maleny of the correct number of adults and children staying in the accommodation when making your reservation.

Children

Children are welcome at Tranquil Park Maleny and must be appropriately supervised by a parent or guardian while on the property.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in guest accommodation unless otherwise approved by management. Assistance and service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable requirements.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside all Tranquil Park Maleny buildings and accommodation rooms.

Guests are asked to use designated outdoor smoking areas where provided.

Loss, Damage & Personal Property

Guests are responsible for any damage to Tranquil Park Maleny property caused by themselves or persons associated with their booking.

Tranquil Park Maleny is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings left in accommodation rooms or elsewhere on the property, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Weddings & Functions Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply to weddings, conferences, workshops, private functions and other events held at Tranquil Park Maleny.

Our team will work with you to help make your event an enjoyable and memorable experience. Please ensure you read these conditions carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Tentative Bookings

Tranquil Park Maleny may hold a tentative wedding or event date for up to 14 days.

If confirmation and the required deposit are not received within this period, Tranquil Park Maleny reserves the right to release the date and make it available to other clients.

Confirmation & Deposit

A wedding booking is secured once the required deposit, equivalent to the applicable venue hire fee, has been received.

The venue hire deposit is non-refundable.

For conferences and other functions, applicable deposit and payment requirements will be outlined in your quotation, proposal or booking confirmation.

Final Guest Numbers & Payment

For weddings, final guest numbers must be confirmed four weeks prior to the event.

Full payment based on the confirmed final numbers is also required at this time unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment can be made by direct deposit or credit card.

Credit card payments may incur the applicable card surcharge advised at the time of payment.

For conferences and other functions, final numbers and payment deadlines will be advised as part of your booking agreement or event proposal.

Payment Terms

•  The non refundable venue hire fee is required to secure your date.
• A 50% instalment is required six months prior to your wedding date.
• A 25% instalment is required three months prior to your wedding date.
• The balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Your wedding date is secured once the required venue hire payment has been received. If you choose to cancel your wedding, any refund or amount retained by Tranquil Park will be determined in accordance with the cancellation terms, taking into account payments already made, services already provided, administration and planning undertaken, and costs reasonably incurred in relation to your booking. All cancellations must be provided to Tranquil Park in writing.

• If you cancel more than six months prior to your wedding date you will forfeit the venue hire fee.
• If you cancel three to six months prior to your wedding date you will forfeit the venue hire fee and 50% of your total cost.
• If you cancel one to three months prior to your wedding date you will forfeit the venue hire fee and 75% of your total cost.
• If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your wedding date all monies paid will be forfeited with 100% of your total cost payable.

Entertainment & Noise

To respect our neighbours and comply with venue requirements:

• Music must finish by 11:00 pm.
• Guests must have departed the function venue by 11:30 pm.
• DJs are permitted.
• Live entertainment is generally limited to soloists and duos.
• Drum kits and wind instruments are not permitted unless specifically approved by Tranquil Park Maleny management.

Any entertainment arrangements should be discussed with the Tranquil Park team prior to the event.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Tranquil Park Maleny is a licensed venue and complies with Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements.

Alcohol will only be served to guests aged 18 years and over, and identification may be requested by staff at any time.

BYO alcohol is not permitted in licensed bar or function areas.

Any unauthorised alcoholic beverages brought into these areas may be removed or guests may be asked to remove them.

Tranquil Park Maleny staff reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to any person who appears intoxicated or whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive.

Guests who fail to comply with staff directions may be asked to leave the premises.

Children & Minors

Children and minors attending weddings or functions must be appropriately supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.

Decorations & Venue Setup

Decorations, displays or fixtures must not be glued, nailed, pinned or otherwise attached to walls, ceilings, doors or other venue surfaces without prior approval from Tranquil Park Maleny management.

Please discuss styling, decorations and installation requirements with our team prior to your event.

Loss & Damage

Tranquil Park Maleny is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal property, merchandise, decorations or equipment brought onto or left at the venue before, during or after an event, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

The person or organisation making the booking is responsible for damage to Tranquil Park Maleny property caused by event attendees, contractors, suppliers or other persons associated with the booking.

Costs associated with repairing or replacing damaged property may be charged to the event organiser.

Accommodation for Weddings & Functions

Accommodation is booked separately from weddings, conferences and functions.

Holding or confirming an event at Tranquil Park Maleny does not automatically reserve accommodation for event guests.

Couples and event organisers are encouraged to advise their guests to book accommodation early, as all rooms remain subject to availability until separately confirmed.
